This luxurious establishment with avant-garde design, sophistication, daring colour schemes and exceptional art in the building, offers guests fine dining cuisine, combining regional products, enhanced by state-of-art cooking techniques, in a matchless historic setting. In 2004, the Restaurant De Librije became only the second restaurant in the Netherlands to be awarded three Michelin stars. The hotel’s monumental character of the former prison gives all nine spacious guestrooms a special atmosphere. One can still distinguish the wooden construction of the cells on the topfloor of Librije’s Hotel.
