OUR STORY
Born under the impetus of Owner, Shannon Bruchard-Gibbons, like the majority of dog owners, our dog is truly a member of the family and with us all the time, everywhere we go, even if it’s to the corner store to pick up a few groceries.
When we wanted to escape and enjoy a high-end luxury hotel stay, we didn’t want to leave our loyal four-legged family member at home with a dog sitter, or at a dog’s holiday centre, or kennel. Like many dog lovers we found planning travel with a pet a somewhat difficult and arduous process, particularly because we were simply not aware of the places we could take our loyal canine companion for a luxury hotel getaway.
So much has changed, and luxury hotels are embracing the essence of hosting four legged accompanied guests. With dedication and research we have discovered the most luxurious pet friendly hotels without compromising on choice or service.

The inspiration behind the brand!
Dynamic, cheerful and with boundless energy, our Border Collie, Powell, was from a litter of nine puppies, and was originally named Pom Pom. The name was not a perfect fit! A little dynamite, running, jumping and constantly active, he was renamed Powell, after the Jamaican Olympic athlete Asafa Powell, the soft spoken, good natured man of speed.
Powell enjoys nothing more than running in the mountains, rolling in the snow, endless cuddles and caressing. His sweet innocence and soulful eyes would melt the hardest of hearts. A true border collie through and through, he is constantly rounding us up, ready to jump in the car to explore new destinations.
Full of love and happiness, he brings an abundance of joy to everyone around him. He is the most treasured, loved and spoilt four legged family member, the true inspiration behind the brand and our most beloved and loyal travelling companion….Pom Pom Powell.
SHANNON BRUCHARD-GIBBONS

Shannon has always had a suitcase at the ready and a journal in hand. Her background in the multifaceted world of communications and a passion for story telling has formed her career. A seasoned expert, she started in live radio, working alongside some of Australia’s most acclaimed radio and television presenters producing live content and interviews with local and international celebrities, politicians, artists, athletes, authors, local community and global leaders. Shannon has dedicated over two decades to working within and with the world’s most influential global sports, lifestyle, travel and luxury press, news & photographic agencies and broadcasters, as well as Olympic & Paralympic sports media.
She speaks fluent french and english and in addition to Australia, she has lived in England, Cyprus, Portugal and France, but has made Switzerland her home since 2012, where she lives with her husband Jérôme and ever-loving Powell!
