The Château de la Bretesche was built in the 14th century and rebuilt a century later. It was besieged in the Wars of Religion and destroyed during the French Revolution and was rebuilt again in the 19th century. Host of the magnificent golf course designed by James Bill Baker, the estate also has two swimming pools and spa. The Spa de la Cour Carrée offers well-being treatments including massages, body and face treatments and features a multisensory cocoon. In the authentic setting of the former stables of La Bretesche castle, the Ecuries Bar offers a selection of whiskeys and cocktails in a uniquely decorated and “leather scented” atmosphere.
