Set on seven hectares of parkland, the Château d’Étoges is a remarkable heritage listed historic landmark, dating back to the beginning of the 17th century. In the heart of the Champagne vineyards, the Château d’Etoges, member of Les Collectionneurs, combines all the refinement and comfort of a charming hotel with the serenity of a private Château and the promise of total relaxation for you and your four legged friend.

Steeped in the history the Château was built by the Counts of Anglure, and was a staging post for French monarchs whilst on progress to their eastern dominions. Following the French Revolution, Etoges passed into the hands of the wife of Marshal Lannes who played hostess to the Court of the Emperor Napoleon. Today, the family that has owned Etoges for over a century is delighted to continue the Chateau’s tradition of offering a royal welcome to its honoured guests.

The elegant and traditionally decorated guestrooms are divided between the Château and the Orangerie. The classic guestrooms in the Château are intimate and cosy, with views of the park. The privilege guestrooms in the Château are beautiful, stylish big rooms and have their own lounge space and panoramic views of the parkland. The guestrooms in the Orangerie are decorated in a more modern contemporary style, with direct access to the Spa and restaurant.

In the pleasant setting of the Orangerie gourmet restaurant, run by head chef Anthony Thibaut and awarded with a Michelin plate and a toque in Gault and Millau you can enjoy inspired authentic cuisine of the region. Discover the gastronomic menu with produce grown in the hotel’s vegetable garden. With views from the terrace of the Chateau and park, your dining experience will exceed all expectations!

Between the undisturbed walks with your dog in the vast parkland of the château grounds, the sauna, steam room, hot tub and massages, all you have left to do during your stay at Château d’Étoges is relax.

Only an hour and a half away from Paris, the Château d’Etoges is perfectly situated, offering an accessible halfway point between the French capital and Alsace, Picardy and Burgundy, London and the south of France, and Germany and Brittany.

With excellent champagne producers within walking distance, this is an ideal base for those who seek tranquillity, gourmet experiences, or who just want to immerse themselves in authentic French culture.
